My Story

I believe everyone has a story and that each story deserves to be heard and understood. Like any meaningful story, our lives can include chapters filled with uncertainty, doubt, or unexpected turns. These moments, though often uninvited, are part of being human. I believe we all possess resilience and the capacity to grow through life’s complexities.

In my work, I strive to see the best in people and to help them reconnect with their strengths, realign with their values, and shape a story that feels authentic, empowered, and worth living.

I earned my Master’s degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 1998 and spent the early years of my career supporting children and families in NYC-based nonprofits and school-based mental health programs.

After experiencing the life-changing moments of becoming a mother myself, I felt called to support other parents through this sacred transition. In 2012, I became a Certified Postpartum Doula and founded Westchester Doula Care, a practice I built on the belief that the early days of parenting deserve to be nurtured and honored.
